The Tacuinum Sanitatis is a medieval handbook on wellness, based on the Taqwim al-sihha ("Maintenance of Health"), an 11th-century Arab medical treatise by Ibn Butlan of Baghdad, the manuscripts of which are characteristically illustrated.
